   • - Built and maintained production ETL pipelines on Google Cloud (Cloud Functions & Cloud Run jobs) across multiple independent data projects.
   • - Implemented DevOps standards with Docker containerization and CI/CD via GitHub Actions + Cloud Build for automated deployments.
   • - Modeled and governed the organization's data lake in BigQuery, configuring Google Dataplex for dataset cataloguing with metadata standards.
   • - Designed a centralized logging & monitoring system to track pipeline health, with automated test rules and weekly reports surfaced in Looker Studio.
   • - Deployed and operated a network of 25+ LoRaWAN dendrometry and environmental sensors, from field integration to data ingestion pipelines.

About me

Aidan Balasch Pérez

Development fanatic since I was 15 years old, where I discovered the potential of programming by creating my first mods for videogames.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from IUT de Blagnac in France, and spent the following two years building cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices in a professional setting.

More recently, I spent 6 months backpacking solo across 20+ countries in Europe and Southeast Asia. (Photo taken in Mũi Si, Vietnam 😉)

In my free time, I like listening to music and playing video games. I consider myself a curious, detailed and open-minded person.
